The Murray State softball makes their first ever trip to Valparaiso for their final Missouri Valley Conference road series, Saturday and Sunday.

Notes

The Racers are coming off a midweek 6-3 non-conference win over SEMO.
Jenna Veber is leading the Racers from the circle with a 1.33 ERA and a 14-10 win-lose record.
Veber has made 23 starts through 34 appearances and have thrown 11 complete games, four shutouts and one no-hitter.
Catcher Taylor Jackson became the all-time leader for caught stealing by with 43 against Belmont. She has 39 hits and 11 RBIs through the season.
Hicks leads the Racers' scoring with 22 runs along with 18 stolen bases through 19 attempts.
Bailey Broemmer is on a roll having hit two home runs along with six RBIs in the last four games.
Kayleigh White leads with 19 RBIs.
Murray State placed fourth in the regular season of their inaugural campaign at the Missouri Valley Conference last season. They are picked sixth in the preseason polls.

Series at Glance
This will be the fourth meeting between the Racers and the Beacons. The Racers swept the series at Racer Field last year. Hannah James threw a perfect game while posting nine strikeouts and six outs.

The Racers has never played at Valparaiso.
