This will be the fourth meeting between the Racers and the Beacons. The Racers swept the series at Racer Field last year. Hannah James threw a perfect game while posting nine strikeouts and six outs.

- The Racers are coming off a midweek 6-3 non-conference win over SEMO.
- Jenna Veber is leading the Racers from the circle with a 1.33 ERA and a 14-10 win-lose record.
- Veber has made 23 starts through 34 appearances and have thrown 11 complete games, four shutouts and one no-hitter.
- Catcher Taylor Jackson became the all-time leader for caught stealing by with 43 against Belmont. She has 39 hits and 11 RBIs through the season.
- Hicks leads the Racers' scoring with 22 runs along with 18 stolen bases through 19 attempts.
- Bailey Broemmer is on a roll having hit two home runs along with six RBIs in the last four games.
