Racers Compete at ITA Conference Masters Championship

Valeria Chaikovskaia, Varvara Alexeyeva and Barbora Hermanova are representing the MVC this week in San Diego

Murray State Tennis student-athletes Valeria Chaikovskaia, Varvara Alexeyeva and Barbora Hermanova are representing the Missouri Valley Conference at the ITA Conference Masters Championships in San Diego, California (Nov. 6-9).

Chaikovskaia is entered into the singles draw and Alexeyeva and Hermanova are competing in doubles.

The ITA Conference Masters Championships is part of the new pathway to the NCAA Individual Championships. Each conference sends a singles player and a doubles pairing to compete in a single elimination tournament where all 4 singles semifinalists and the first, second, and third place in doubles receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Individual Championships which will take place from November 18-23 at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla.
