Tee Time: Racers Set For Monday Play at Old Waverly Collegiate

The Murray State men's golf team begins play Monday at the Old Waverly Collegiate Championship in West Point, Mississippi.

The 54-hole event at Old Waverly Golf Club is hosted by Mississippi State and it will provide the Racers with the best field of competition they have faced in many seasons, if not the best the squad has faced in program history.

There are nine teams in the field of ranked in NCAA D-I in the Top-100 according to Scoreboard Golf, led by No. 3 Ole Miss.

Murray State's Jay Nimmo, a senior from Benton, Ky., was a member of the Mississippi State program as a freshman in 2021-22.
