MURRAY, Ky. - Murray State plays for a fourth consecutive match without a loss Sunday afternoon at UNI Soccer Field, where a win would move the Racers to 3-2-1 in Missouri Valley Conference play.
The run began with a 3-0 win over Valparaiso and a 1-0 win over UIC at Cutchin Field and continued Thursday at Drake, where Murray State drew 1-1 with one of the two teams still unbeaten in league play. Addison Howell scored in the 59th minute, the Racers put a season-high nine shots on goal, and they outshot a Drake side that had conceded seven times in 13 matches. Murray State has taken seven of a possible nine points since opening the conference schedule with two defeats.
Griselda Revolorio has conceded one goal across the three matches. The senior goalkeeper has four shutouts and a 1.21 goals-against average, and she and junior Abbey MacDonald have each played all 1,260 minutes this season.
- Revolorio has 64 saves, a .790 save percentage and 64 of Murray State's 66 team saves. She was named Missouri Valley Goalkeeper of the Week in back-to-back weeks this month.
- Revolorio has made 59 career starts in goal, tying Tara Isbell for second in program history. She also ranks third all time with 62 matches in goal, 5,324 minutes and 19 shutouts, and fourth with 255 saves.
- Bass reached 10 career goals with her winner against UIC on Oct. 11. She has 29 career points and five game-winners, both the most of any current Racer.
- Junior forward Breece Bass leads the Racers in goals (3), assists (3), points (9), shots (37) and shots on goal (17). She put all four of her attempts on target at Drake.
- Howell became the ninth different Racer to score in 2026. Bass has three goals, Gabby Ramdeen two and the other seven one apiece.
- Ten of Murray State's 13 goals have come in the second half, and 10 of the 13 have been scored at Cutchin Field.
- The Racers have four shutouts in 14 matches after recording two in their first 11.
- Murray State is 0-5-2 on the road and has earned both road points by draw. The Racers are 1-2-1 against UNI since the series began in 2022 and 0-2 in Cedar Falls.
- Common opponents: Murray State beat Valparaiso 3-0 and lost 1-0 to Illinois State. UNI drew Valparaiso 1-1 and lost 6-0 at Illinois State.
Scouting the Panthers
UNI is 1-10-2 and 1-3-1 in the Missouri Valley, having lost three of its last four, most recently 1-0 at Evansville on Thursday. The Panthers opened league play with a 2-0 loss at Indiana State, then beat Belmont 1-0 at home on Sept. 27 for their only win of the season, fell 6-0 at Illinois State and drew Valparaiso 1-1 on Oct. 11.
Scoring has been the problem all year. UNI has five goals in 13 matches, a 0.38 average that is the lowest in the conference, and has been shut out eight times. The Panthers have taken 124 shots and put 51 on target. Ella Ubben leads the team with five points on two goals and an assist, and Shaelee Franck has a team-high 19 shots.
At the other end UNI has allowed 2.46 goals a match and has recorded one shutout, the Belmont win. The Panthers have made 84 saves, a figure that reflects how much work they have had to do, and they carry nine yellow cards and a red to Murray State's four yellows and none.
