Women's Tennis Takes on EIU and SIUE at Home

The Murray State women's tennis team looks to bounce back as they take on Eastern Illinois and SIU-Edwardsville at Purcell Courts on Friday and Saturday.
The Racers come into the weekend with a 6-6 overall record and a 1-1 record in conference play. In their last conference matches, MSU defeated Morehead State 5-2 in Morehead Kentucky and lost to Eastern Kentucky 7-0 in Richmond, Ky.
Double partners Haily Morgan and Erin Patton are undefeated in conference play this season as they play at the No. 1 doubles court..Morgan along with fellow freshmen Jeanne Masson have shown promise in singles matches this season. Both teammates are 1-1 in conference with Morgan playing bother her matches at the No.3 singles and Masson playing her matches at the No. 6 singles.
Eastern Illinois comes into the match 2-0 in conference play with an 8-4 overall record. The Panthers faced Murray State in a fall match this year where EIU won the match 5-2. SIUE is 1-1 in conference play with an 9-4 overall record. The Cougars fell 4-3 to UT Martin to start conference play but bounced back to beat Southeast Missouri 6-0.
The Racers will face EIU on Friday and SIUE on Saturday. Match time for both days is set for 10 a.m.
