Racers Travel To Birmingham For A Pair Of Games

Recap From The Last Matches
Murray State Spilt their two games on the road this past weekend, losing to Lipscomb 4-2 and coming back to defeat Arkansas State 4-3. In the Arkansas State win, the Racers were forced to win four of six singles matches to secure the victory.

Looking at UAB
Coming in at 5-8 overall, the Blazers are on a two-game winning streak, defeating OVC foes Eastern Kentucky on March 4, 4-3 and UT Martin on March 7, 6-1. Before the two wins, UAB was on a four-game losing streak.

All-Time Record/Last Time They Met
This will be the 11^th time these two schools have met, with the first a Racer win in 1983. UAB does lead the series 7-3, winning the last six matches.

The last time Murray State and UAB battled was in 2011, where the Blazers won 6-1.

Looking at Samford
Murray State continues their stay in the magic city with a battle against Samford. The Bulldogs are currently 5-6 on the year. Much like UAB, Samford is on a two-game winning streak after beating EKU and UT Martin.

This will be the 15^th time Murray State and Samford will have met. The Racers won the first seven matches against the Bulldogs before losing five of the last six.

The last time these two schools met was in 2011, where Samford won 7-0.
