- It's game-5 of the season for the Murray State Racers when they take on the South Dakota Coyotes Saturday in a 2 p.m. kick off in Murray, Kentucky.
- The Racers are playing their 100th season in 2024.
- The game marks the third of six home games for MSU at Roy Stewart Stadium in 2024. The Racers still have home games against Illinois State for homecoming (Oct. 19), North Dakota State (Oct. 26) and Missouri State (Nov. 9).
- In their 52nd season in the Concrete Cathedral, the Racers are 171-105-2 (.623) all-time and 12-9 in the last five seasons since 2020.
- The game marks just the second meeting between the Coyotes and Racers after they played in Vermillion in 2023, won by SDU 38-7.
