Murray State softball wins first doubleheader game 3-0 but dropped second game 0-2.

In A Nutshell
Murray State softball drops their series against Indiana State 1-2, Saturday. After losing Friday's game 1-2 in eight innings, the Racers came back to win the second game of the series 3-0.

They lost the rubber match game 0-2 in eight innings.

The Racers are now 17-21 overall and 5-8 in Missouri Valley Conference play.

Game One
The Racers capitalized on an fast start where they scored three runs in the first inning. Taylor Jackson hit an RBI double to score Lily Fischer from second base and was followed by Kayleigh White's two RBI triple to score the Racers' three runs.

After six scoreless innings, the Racers clinch the game.

Raylee Roby started in the circle for the Racers and earned her second career win while posting six strikeouts while only allowing three hits through 21 batters faced. White hit two triples.

Game Two
The Racers and Sycamores went through seven scoreless innings. Calista Colins hit a double that hit the fence but was left on base in the seventh inning.

The Sycamores scored two runs in the top of the eighth inning to win the game.

What's next?
Murray State will host Belmont for a midweek conference matchup, Tuesday.
