Murray, Ky. – The Racers hit the road for the second time this season, traveling to face Xavier at 5:30 p.m. CST Thursday in their fifth nonconference matchup of 2025.
Thursday's match will be the fourth meeting between the programs, with the Racers trailing the all-time series 0-3-0. A win Thursday would mark Murray State's first victory over a Big East opponent in program history and its first road win of the season.
The last meeting came in a 2-1 Xavier win, despite the Musketeers recording 30 shots,14 on goal. In that match, Murray State goalkeeper Griselda Revolorio set a career high with 12 saves. Revolorio enters Thursday's match with 138 career saves and two shutouts this season, anchoring a defense that has allowed just four goals in four matches.
Murray State (2-2-0) is seeking its first road win of the season after falling 2-1 to Lipscomb in its lone away contest. The Racers' most recent match ended in a 1-0 victory over Tennessee Tech, secured by a 65th-minute goal from Breece Bass off a Megan Wilson assist. Bass leads the Racers in shots and shots on goal and scored her first goal of the season Sunday.
Xavier (1-2-0) opened the season with back-to-back losses to ACC opponents before earning its first win, a 3-0 decision over local rival Cincinnati.
