Racers Host Belmont and Tennessee State To Start Conference Play

Recap From The Last Match
The Racers fell to UAB and Samford down in Birmingham, Ala., this past weekend. In the two games, Murray State secured just one point, which came in a 6-1 loss to Samford, where Amina Hadzic won 6-4,6-4 in two sets.
Looking at Belmont
The Bruins of Belmont will come in with an overall record of 4-8 when they play the Racers on Friday, March 16. The Bruins have been improving as of late, getting three of their four wins in the last five games. After Murray State, Belmont travels to Clarksville, Tenn., to take on the Govenors of Austin Peay.

Murray State holds a 14-2 edge over the Bruins in the all-time series, with the Racers 8-2 in the last 10-games played. 1998 was the first time both schools played each other when Belmont was still in the A-SUN conference.
