Game Day Story Lines
- It's game 4 of the season for the Murray State Racers when they tale on the Fighting Hawks of North Dakota at the Alerus Center Saturday in a 1 p.m. kick off.
- The game marks the second opener for the Racers in the MVFC. MSU won their opener a year ago against Indiana State at home 30-28.
- The game marks just the second meeting between the two after they played in Murray, Kentucky in 2023, which the Fighting Hawks won 45-31.
- With the game in Grand Forks, the Racers are playing the northern-most football game in their 100-year history, as they will be about 75 miles from the USA border with Canada.
- The previous mark was last season at North Dakota State in Fargo, which is about 75 miles south of Grand Forks.
